Gold decorated lever watch with brooch by Patek Philippe

A very fine Swiss 18K gold, enamel and diamond-set lever pendant watch with matching brooch, circa 1906. Retailed by C. Shreve & Co, San Francisco, U.S.A. Sold on March 22nd, 1907. Bridge movement, lever escapement, gold screw compensation balance. Gold cuvette with dedication engraving. White enamel dial with black Arabic hours and gold-coloured Arabic minutes. Both bezels are plain with a white enamel band, the back with inside out a large central diamond, engine turning overlaid with translucent salmon-coloured enamel, a white enamel band surrounded by guilloché decoration, a wide engine-turned band decorated with a wreath and mounted diamonds, an outermost guilloché and white enamel border. Dial signed Schreve & Co, case numbered, movement signed and numbered. Comes with an Extract from the Archives.
