Gold repeating chronometer

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating keyless lever pocket chronometer, circa 1920. Rhodium-plated movement, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to eight positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. A hinged gold cuvette with an engraved inscription on the back. Brushed gold dial with black Arabic hours, outer minute divisions, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. The case polished. Dial and cuvette signed, case and movement signed and numbered.
