Three colour gold enamelled repeater

A German 18 carat multicoloured gold and enamel open faced repeating pocket watch, circa 1760. The gilt full plate movement with a verge escapement, decoratively pierced and engraved balance bridge, round baluster pillars, and chain and fusee, repeating on a bell. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and decorative hands. The case back with a central champlevé enamel scene in dark blue depicting two lovers in an Arcadian setting surrounded by chased and engraved flowers, foliage and scrollwork, pierced with a plunge pendant for the repeating, stamped FGA. Movement signed by the watchmaker, the bell scratch signed Drury.
