An English 18 carat gold open faced key wind pocket watch made by Dwerrihouse & Carter in Mayfair, The City of Westminster, London, London Hallmarked for 1819. The movement with a cylinder escapement, plain three arm balance, engraved balance cock and diamond endstone. White enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, large subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and gilt spade hands. The engine turned, hinged case with a coin edged band. Cuvette signed, case and cuvette with matching numbers, case stamped T.H.
