A fine Swiss 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. The matte gilt movement after Swiss Patent No. 334 with 21 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor and an index regulator with silvered scale on a bridge, repeating on gongs activated by a push button in the band. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and original gold spade hands. The polished case with a hinged gold cuvette. Movement numbered.
