Gilt keyless watch with enamel scene

A Swiss gilt and enamel open faced keyless pocket watch made by Aero Watch S.A. in Neuchâtel, circa 1970. Retailed by Jeangold. The rhodium plated movement, ∅ 36 mm, 17 jewels, with a straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self compensating flat balance spring, an Incabloc shock absorber and an micrometer regulator. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions and red 24 hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and original blued steel spade hands. A brushed case with a cast foliate band, pendant and bow, the back cast with foliate scrolls, the hinged front cover with a polychrome enamel flower spray signed Gamet and an outer royal blue enamel border with paillons. Dial signed Jeangold Horloger, case signed Aero Watch S.A.
