Gold decorative mandoline shaped watch

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set mandolin form watch with concealed dial attributed to Frères Les Raffard in Geneva, circa 1810. The matte gilt full plate movement, ∅21 mm, with fusee and chain, a verge escapement, micrometric potence adjustment, three arm brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring, continental balance clock with a polished steel endplate and silver regulation dial. White enamel dial with Arabic hour numerals, outer minute divisions and blued steel Breguet hands. A mandolin shaped case, the band decorated with black champlevé enamel and pearls, the back with translucent royal blue enamel and an enamelled musical score on engraved gold foliage, the front overlaid with translucent red enamel and set with pearls, further gold strings. Accompanied by a gold and enamel key.
