A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat white gold open faced oval dress watch with an 18 carat white gold chain made by Patek Philippe in Geneva, circa 1970. The rhodium plated movement is stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, features Geneva striping decoration, has 18 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, shock absorber and self compensating flat balance spring. Silver dial with Arabic hour numerals and original black oxidized Breguet hands. The solid, polished case with a rounded bezel, snap on back and sapphire crystals. Accompanied by the fitted presentation box and a certificate. Dial and case signed, movement signed and numbered.
