Pocket watch with skeletonised movement

A unique pivoted detent chronometer pocket watch with skeletonised movement, possibly unfinished student’s work, made circa 1860. The case of this watch was crafted from 18 carat gold, features engine turned decoration on both lids and the numbered cuvette is marked Chronomètre. The dial is missing and the numbered skeletonised movement is equipped with snake shaped bridges, a chain and fusee, a chronometer escapement with a diamond end stone and screwed chatons.
