A large lépine watch with fine quality ruby cylinder escapement and quarter hour repeater, made circa 1810. The guilloché open faced case of this  à goutte watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has an engine turned back lid with an empty round cartouche in the center. The guilloché dial has black Roman hour numerals and blued steel hands and the movement has an early stone cylinder escapement with parachute and quarter hour repeater.
