A large fine quality pocket watch with ruby cylinder and repetition made circa 1810. The guilloché open faced case of this à goutte watch was crafted from 18 carat gold and has an engine turned back lid with an empty round cartouche in the center. The guilloché dial has black Roman hour numerals and blued steel hands and the movement has an early stone cylinder escapement with parachute and quarter hour repeater.
