A Swiss rare oignon pocket watch with enamel portrait and automaton, Isaac Dufour, Geneva circa 1685-1700, brass case covered with leather.
Unusual construction, both sides liftable, visible early full plate fire gilt verge movement with very rare enamelled cage below, ladies portrait, early verge movement with Egyptian pillars, winding through the back,  main plate signed Issac Dufour.
gilt champlevé dial, different animals in centre, automaton with 8 different portraits, enamel painting, automaton release by pushing the pendant, blued steel hands, noted Geneva watchmaker 1685
