A technically interesting and rare French silver open faced half quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1770-1790. Complicated and fine verge movement, repeating hours, quarters and half quarter hours. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and presumably original hands. Plain case with pierced and engraved rim, sound openings, winding stem to the back, dust cover missing, bell.
