A very large and heavy gold hunting cased watch with pivoted detent escapement, very high quality, circa 1900. A 14 carat rose gold, dome inscribed CHRONOMETRE, pocket chronometer of excellent quality. Special escapement with free balance spring, helical hairspring, golden Chaton, fine regulation. The main plate is also inscribed CHRONOMETRE, perfectly preserved, original dial and red golden hands. Very nice condition of preservation.
