An English verge with rural enamel scene in silver pair cases, circa 1770. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars, pierced and engraved cock, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates, plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial, central white chapter of Roman numerals around which a polychrome enamel scene depicting a hunter and a fisherman and fine gilt hands. Silver pendant and bow, maker’s mark IP in a rectangle.
