A Swiss verge pocket watch in a very beautiful gilt metal and enamel consular case with the corresponding chatelaine, circa 1780. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three-arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Round pillars. Winding through the signed white enamel dial, black Roman and Arabic numerals, fine pink gold hands. Polychrome enamel back depicting a couple in a garden.
