A Swiss gilt metal and painted on enamel pocket watch with a concealed erotic scene, circa 1780. The Temptations of the Flesh, Swiss. A polished case, the back cover opening to reveal the erotic scene depicting a seated monk and a lady in a compromising position. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, winding aperture at 2. Gilt Louis hands. A matte gilt full-plate movement, fusee and chain, pentagonal baluster pillars, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silvered regulation dial. Case punched “Leton”.
