Rose gold repeating duplex watch by Parkinson & Frodsham

An extremely rare and heavy English rose gold triple cased repeating duplex pocket watch, Hallmarked London 1800. Full plate movement, ruby duplex escapement, repeater. Probably later engine-turned dial with rose gold Roman hours and outer minute dots, decorative rose gold hands. Outer metal protective case, rose gold plated and decorated with green and brown tortoiseshell, nail decoration, sound openings, curved rim, both inner cases 18 carat rose gold and pierced, bell,  decorated with bird heads, grotesques masks, rocailles and a view of the castle on the pendant. Movement signed and numbered. Comes with a rare early crank key.
