A Swiss 18 carat gold dual sided hunting cased keyless wind pocket watch with triple calendar, circa 1900. Nickel 3/4 plate lever movement, bimetallic balance wheel with compensation screws, blued steel Breguet overcoil balance spring, Geneva stop work, hinged plate for calendar mechanism. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6, rose gilt baton hands with stone set floral decoration to one side, the other white enamel dial with outer day markers, subsidiary dials for day and month, rose gilt stone set arrow form hands.
Engraved consular case, foliate and geometric decoration, button at 4 for adjusting time only hands, adjustment tabs within bezel for adjusting date functions.
Dial and movement signed. Accompanied by 14 carat gold chain, fob bearing the crest of a European family.
