An American 14 carat gold open faced keyless wind split second chronograph pocket watch, circa 1890. Nickel finish Swiss lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial and black Arabic numerals, black outer minute and 1/5th second markers, subsidiary seconds at 6, blued steel spade hands and center split seconds. Polished hinged round case, button at 11 for split second. Dial and movement signed.
