An early and very fine English silver open faced duplex deck chronometer, Hallmarked London 1820. Very fine duplex movement, diamond endstone, screwed gold chatons, chain/fusee, magnificently engraved cock. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, large construction of the subsidiary seconds for observation purposes, gold hands. Plain case, maker’s mark GMR. Movement signed and numbered.
