A large and rare German silver pair cased half-quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1780. Verge movement, repeating the hours, quarter hours and half quarters. Screwed white enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions, gilt hands. Outer case covered with tortoiseshell on the back, sound holes, solid silver inner case, the rim with fine sound openings, bell. Movement signed.
