An interesting English gold-plated pair cased verge oignon pocket watch with date, circa 1700. Very early English verge movement, splendid cock with straight foot, typical for the time round 1700. Gilt champlevé dial, probably original, very beautiful iron hands, date aperture, movement intact. Joseph Stasinon originally came from Belgium, based in Tournai. Dial and movement signed.
