A rare English silver open-faced duplex watch, circa 1821, gilt partly skeletonized movement engraved with foliate scrolls, foliate engraved cocks, duplex escapement, plain steel balance, spiral balance spring with regulator, diamond endstone, off-white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute track and blued steel moon hands, plain polished case, reeded band, case maker’s mark HJ for Henry Jackson, movement signed James F. Cole London, dial signed Cole London.
