A heavy and very large Swiss astronomical 14 carat rose gold hunting cased quarter repeating chronograph keyless pocket watch with triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1900. The very fine and complicated Swiss lever movement repeats the hours and quarter hours. A plain case with maker’s punch Louis Brandt & Fils. White enamel dial with Arabic hours, an outer minute track, outermost chronograph register for time measurement with an accuracy of fifths of a second, apertures for digital indication of the weekdays and months, the date at 12 o’clock, subsidiary seconds at 6 with concentric phases of the moon and rose gold hands. Case numbered.
