A heavy and very fine Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating lever pocket watch with chronograph made for the Russian market, circa 1900. Glazed movement, Swiss precision lever escapement, repeating the hours, quarter hours and minutes, high quality and exceptional chronograph. Cuvette elaborately and very decoratively engraved with the Russian Tsar eagle, various medals and portraits. Engine turned dial with Arabic hours, 300 chronograph register, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands. Plain case, ribbed band, Louis Audemars punch mark, Swiss 14K gold punch, additionally Russian 56 gold punch. Dial signed, cuvette signed and numbered, movement signed. Comes with the, presumably, original box.
