An especially heavy Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer, circa 1900. Very fine Swiss, glazed movement, helical hairspring, fine adjusting device and screwed gold chatons, Geneva striping decoration, inscribed Chronometre. Cuvette inscribed Chronometre and medals from 1862-1905. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, also inscribed Chronometre, subsidiary seconds, rose gold hands. Plain case.
