Very fine and large Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating Lépine pocket watch, circa 1820. Movement with rare virgule escapement, repeating the hours and quarter hours, square-shaped gong. White enamel dial with Arabic hours and outer minute divisions, blued steel Breguet hands. Engine turned case, reeded band. Case numbered.
