An American 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless pocket watch made by the American Waltham Watch Company in Waltham, Massachusetts, circa 1896. The adjusted Swiss lever movement with 17 jewels and a cut and compensated bimetallic balance. White enamel dial with black Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost red Arabic five minute numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel spade hands. A polished hinged case. Dial signed, case and movement signed and numbered.
