Platinum diamond-set and enamel lapel watch

A fine and unusual, platinum, diamond-set and enamel, keyless, lapel watch with articulated integral bow shaped diamond-set brooch. Made by Spaulding & Co., Chicago Illinois, Circa 1910.
Three body, solid and polished case with translucent guilloché blue enamel case back centred by a platinum diamond-set hexagonal ornament, diamond-set translucent guilloché blue enamel bezel surrounded by a geometrical diamond-set platinum hexagonal border with fleur-de-lis at 12 o’clock and diamond and cabochon sapphire set winding crown.
Matte silver dial with painted Breguet numerals, outer minute track and blued steel spade hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance and blued steel flat balance spring.
Dial and movement signed.
