A very fine French, platinum, diamond-set and mother of pearl keyless slim dress watch, circa 1920. Made in the 1920s by European Watch and Clock Co. Inc., France. A brushed case, the band entirely set with diamonds. Brushed silvered dial with mother of the pearl chapter ring, applied white gold dauphine numerals, outer dot minute ring. Blued steel Cathedrale hands. Signed European Watch and Clock Co., Inc., Swiss, rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Cartier. Case and movement engraved E.W. & Co Inc, France.
