A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. The movement features a pendant winding mechanism, lever escapement and bimetallic compensation balance. The white enamel dial has black Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, outermost black Arabic five minute markers, inner red Arabic 24 hours, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and spade hands. The case is smooth.
