A fine, large Swiss 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating chronograph keyless lever pocket watch with triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1900. Frosted gilt movement, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by push button on the band, centrifugal governor. Gold hinged cuvette over a glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute and outermost fifths of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds and date, apertures for the days of the week, months and moon phases, original gilt Louis XV hands. Solid, polished case, the front with engraved foliate monogram JD. Case numbered.
