A fine and rare Swiss sterling silver and gold hunting cased key wound lever pocket watch made for the American market, circa 1860s. Nickel movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel balance spring, index regulator. A hinged silver cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman hours, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel Breguet hands. Polished case. Dial, cuvette and movement signed W. J. Yeoman Waukegau Ills, case signed Charles F. Tissot & Son Locle, movement numbered.
