A very fine and rare Swiss 14-carat gold open-faced split-seconds chronograph keyless lever pocket watch, circa 1900. Nickel-silver movement, bridge caliber, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with printed Breguet numerals, outer minute and chronograph divisions with five-minute red Arabic markers, sunk subsidiary seconds, and original blued steel double spade hands. Solid, polished case. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
