A very fine Danish 18 carat gold hunting cased pocket chronometer, circa 1860. Frosted gilt movement, jeweled to the third wheel, chronometer escapement with pivoted detent, jewelled locking stone, the detent pivot and escape wheel pivot with gold caps, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track, large subsidiary seconds dial and original Jürgensen type gold and diamond set hands. Engine turned case with polished borders, reeded band. Cuvette signed, case numbered..
