A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat white gold and diamond-set open faced keyless lever pendant watch, made by Golay Fils & Stahl in Genève, circa 1890. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. White gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals within gold paillon reserves, outer gold paillon minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original black spade hands. Case entirely set with rose-cut diamonds, trefoil bow. Dial and cuvette signed.
