A fine Swiss keyless lever watch set in a gold coin of King Umberto I of Italy dated 1882, circa 1920. Rhodium-plated movement with spotted decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with four adjustments, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Matte silver dial with black Arabic hours, outer minute divisions and black spade hands. The case is a gold coin, a profile of King Umberto I of Italy on the back, the coin-edge band and bezel with oak and laurel wreath around the dial. Dial signed, case numbered, movement signed and numbered. Accompanied by a period brass-bound rosewood fitted presentation box.
