A very fine German silver keyless lever deck and pocket chronometer with power reserve indication, circa 1940. Frosted gilt ¾ plate movement, 17 jewels, straight-line club-tooth lever escapement with lateral banking extension from the entry pallet, large Anibal-brass Guillaume balance, blued steel balance spring with Phillips outer terminal curve, micrometric swan-neck regulator, patented balance spring stud fastening design, patented winding indicator mechanism. Hinged steel cuvette. Silvered dial with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 3 o’clock, power reserve indication at 9 o’clock and original blued steel spade hands. Polished case. Case, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered.
