A very fine, unusual Swiss 18 carat gold, diamond- and tourmaline-set square skeletonized keyless lever pendant watch made in the 1930s. Rhodium-plated movement, skeletonized, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to temperatures, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Transparent dial, original gold dauphine hands. Solid case, fluted bezels fixed to the inner case with four screws, transparent case back, corners set with eight baguette diamonds, bezel decorated with five tourmaline tapered baguettes, hinged fluted bow, faceted flattop crystals. Movement and case signed, case numbered.
