An extremely fine and very elegant Swiss platinum and diamond-set open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1941. Sold on December 20, 1941 to F.G. Kuchàr. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Two-tone brushed silver dial with applied white gold Arabic numerals, baton quarter-hour indexes, outer minute track with applied white gold dot five-minute divisions, subsidiary seconds and original white gold Feuille hands. Brushed and polished case, inclined bezel set with 73 round white diamonds. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
