A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced assymetric classe A chronometer keyless lever dress watch with fine gold chain and 18 carat gold clip, made in the 1940’s. Retailed by Astrua, Torino. Ultra Prima, rhodium plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, mono-metallic balance adjusted to 6 positions, selfcompensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, Rolex patented escapement protecting cap, index regulator. Black dial with eccentric painted gold baton indexes, Arabic quarter hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and gold lozenge hands. Irregular hexagonal case, polished and brushed, pendant ring at top right corner. Dial, case and movement signed by watchmaker, dial also signed by retailer, case and movement numbered.
