A very fine and rare Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set keyless lever Belle Epoque pendant watch with gold and diamond-set brooch fitting, circa 1900. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Gold hinged cuvette with engraved monogram AJ. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track outermost Arabic five minutes in gold and original gold Louis XV hands. Case with translucent blue and aqua enamel, set with diamonds in platinum settings, the decoration continuing through the bezel and band, swivel pendant. Dial, case and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the original fitted box, spare crystal and the Extract from the Archives.
