A very fine, rare, large and heavy Swiss 18 carat gold hunting cased keyless Extra lever chronometer pocket watch, circa 1911. Sold on November 9th, 1923. Extra, rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance with winged arms, gold temperature and platinum meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring with outer terminal curve, Wilmot’s patent cam micrometre regulator, diamond endstone. Gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and gold spade hands. Solid case, polished. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed, case and movement numbered. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
