A Swiss gilt-brass minute repeating keyless lever pocket watch with a transparent dial, circa 1940. Rhodium-plated movement by A. Lugrin made in 1889, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Transparent plexiglass dial with applied gilt dot indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals, original gilt baton hands. Polished case, transparent back. Movement signed under the hour hammer.
