A fine, rare and large Swiss silver open faced keyless lever pocket and deck chronometer with split-seconds chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register, circa 1956. From a series of 402. Sold on April 11, 1956. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 26 jewels, fast beating straight-line lever escapement, glucydur balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometre index regulator. Matte silver dial with painted Paris numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, extreme outer chronograph ring divided into 1/5th and 1/10th of a second, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register, original blued steel Breguet hands. Polished case, transparent back, co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and between 10 and 11 for the split seconds. Dial and movement signed. Accompanied by a Ulysse Nardin fitted deck box and Bulletin de Marche dated July 1982.
