Silver set of minute repeating chronographs

A fine and rare Swiss set of silver, enamel and pearl-set open faced minute repeating lever chronograph pocket watches made for the Chinese market, circa 1900. Gilt movements with a going barrel, a monometallic balance, Breguet overcoil balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs with hammers. White enamel dials with Roman hours, outer 1/5th second divisions with Arabic five-minute numerals and blued steel spade hands. The front of the cases with a painted portrait of a lady, the reverse with a polychrome enamel bouquet of flowers on a translucent red enamel ground, the bezels are set with pearls, seals and a Chinese dedication on the inside. Dials signed, cases signed and numbered. Accompanied by a fitted presentation box and spare key.
