Gunmetal open faced one minute tourbillon watch by Paul Loichot

A fine French gunmetal open faced keyless Art Nouveau pocket watch with visible one minute tourbillon regulator patented on 11 June 1904 (Swiss patent No. 30754), circa 1906. Matte gilt inverted brass movement, a straight line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator and tourbillon carriage revolving once per minute. Eccentric white enamel dial with Roman numerals and polychrome enamel floral decoration and original gilt brass Louis XV hands, an aperture below the dial displaying the escapement mounted on the gilt tourbillon carriage. A polished case. Movement punched with Paul Loichot’s patent number.
