A fine French gunmetal open faced keyless Art Nouveau pocket watch with a visible one minute tourbillon regulator Patented on June 11, 1904, circa 1906. An eccentric white enamel dial with radial Roman hour numerals, floral decoration and gilt brass Louis XIV hands, an aperture below displaying the escapement mounted on the gilt tourbillon carriage. An inverted matte gilt brass movement with straight line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator and a tourbillon carriage revolving once per minute. Movement punched with Paul Loichot’s Patent No. 30754.
