A fine Swiss, 18K yellow gold keyless 18th-century style pendant watch, circa 1900. Made for L. & E. Fabre, Buenos Aires. Back chased with a classical portal, flower vase, scrolling, extended hinge, gold hinged cuvette. White enamel dial, slightly convex, Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic markers. Gold Louis XVI hands. A frosted gilt movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring. Signed on dial, case and movement.
